THE PRINCIPALS: Envisions Entertainment & Productions, Inc. is a privately held corporation incorporated in 1995 by its current owners Wil Somaoang, Herb Yuen, CMP and Wayne Hikiji. Together, Wil, Herb and Wayne have extensive experience in entertainment production, décor design and catering and convention services.
Wil Somaoang is the scenic design guru for Envisions Entertainment. His innovative and creative décor design began 23 years ago as owner and operator of Envisions Prop Company. Wil also has 10 prior years of food and beverage, catering and convention service experience as Catering Service Manager at the Maui Marriott and the Rancho Las Palmas in Palm Springs.
Herb Yuen is our other scenic design expert. He is also credited for developing the sales and marketing tools that make the “Envisions experience” so user-friendly. His credentials do not stop there. As a Certified Meeting Professional, Herb adds 15 years of convention service experience at the Hyatt Regency-Waikiki, the Maui Marriott Resort, and as Director of Convention Services at the Kapalua Bay Hotel and The Westin Maui to our experience base.
Wayne Hikiji is our entertainment and production expert, with over 20 years of experience in the field. In 1991, Wayne formed Encore Entertainment & Productions after 4-1/2 years of practice as an attorney in Honolulu. During those formidable years, Wayne promoted concerts for the likes of Dave Koz and many of Hawaii’s favorite local recording artists, and produced numerous special events island-wide. As the exclusive Hawaii agent for Pyro Spectaculars, Inc., Wayne has produced numerous fireworks displays statewide.

These ladies collectively manage over 1,000 events a year. As a result, each of them has developed a wide experience base to tackle any event management issue. To their credit, they have operated some of our most extensive events, which demand only the highest level of organization, coordination, attention to detail and follow-through.
Stephanie Borges
Over the years, she quickly developed a solid working relationship with the local fire authority on all islands, as well as the various governmental agencies involved. Her working knowledge of the permit process and thoroughness in every detail has earned her the respect and comfort level of the fire inspectors that oversee each display, as well as the pyro technicians that fire the show.

These guys work closely with our event managers on all prop and décor aspects of an event, including on-site décor management and coordination. Both Dana and Travis have been with Envisions Entertainment since it’s inception. And, as our senior scenic go-to guys, they have coordinated countless elaborate set ups under the most demanding of circumstances.
